David Heinemeier HanssonandClaude Opus 5 f70c55d813 Give Hermes the mark that reads at menu size
U+E90A carried a trace of the Hermes app icon: a portrait whose detail collapses
into a grey smudge beside the ten flat silhouettes the rest of the font is made
of, which is what icon-font.md warns against when it says to pick a source whose
silhouette alone reads.

It is Font Awesome's staff-snake now, under CC BY 4.0 -- the mark Hermes serves
as its favicon and titles its README with. The README records that, along with
the licence the artwork carries, since it is the only note of where these come
from.

a12a21c02f Add Hermes as a desktop app and a coding agent
Hermes joins Install > AI as a desktop app, sits beside it under Remove > AI,
and becomes a choice in the default-agent list. The CLI installs through
omarchy-install-hermes-cli rather than a bare `mise use`, so its interpreter
is pinned before mise builds it.

Rebased onto quattro. Ori claimed U+E909 in #7709 while this branch was open,
so the Hermes mark moves to U+E90A in the icon font, the menu entries, the
font README, and the charset the menu test pins. The glyph outline itself is
unchanged; it is spliced in beside Ori rather than over it.

OmarchybotandCodex XHigh 1cc5c72e2c Add Ori as a lazy-loaded agent and a default-agent choice (#7709)
Ori is OpenRouter's harness: `ori claude`, `ori codex` and `ori opencode` start those agents against OpenRouter's model catalogue, and `ori code` is Ori's own agent. That last one is what the default-agent entry launches, bare — Ori has no approval prompt to skip, so there is no "don't stop to ask" flag to pass it the way the other agents get one.

The package is `github:OpenRouterLabs/ori-releases`, because upstream ships prebuilt binaries as release assets and publishes nothing to npm. mise's `github` backend picks the right asset per platform and verifies GitHub's artifact attestations on the way in; `ubi` resolves the same release but is deprecated for removal in mise 2027.1.

The menu glyph at U+E909 is OpenRouter's own mark. Ori publishes no logo of its own and its product page renders that one, so there was no Ori-specific mark to prefer over it.

Omarchybot 260a729104 Add T3 Code to the AI install menu (#7496)
t3code-bin is in the Omarchy repo now, so the menu can offer it the way it offers Cursor and Grok Bot: install the package, then launch the desktop entry it ships.

The mark is a trace rather than a download. T3 publishes no monochrome SVG — the app icon is a black rounded tile with the letters knocked out of it, and a tile flattens to a solid square once the menu recolors every path with the theme foreground. Tracing the lettermark out of that icon keeps the silhouette that actually reads.

The font is package-owned, so the glyph reaches a desktop through an omarchy-settings release rather than omarchy update. Until that release lands, a pulled checkout draws the entry with no icon.

Ryan Hughes babfafa5e9 Split user defaults into skel seed, finalize, and resync
Reorganizes Omarchy 4 around three layers for populating $HOME:

  Seed: omarchy-settings ships defaults to /etc/skel; useradd -m
            copies them on user creation
  Finalize: omarchy-finalize-user (renamed from omarchy-setup-user)
            handles only the runtime tweaks /etc/skel can't do — skill
            symlinks, xdg-user-dirs, default browser/mailto, vconsole→hypr
            keyboard sync, and install/user/all.sh
  Resync: omarchy-reinstall-configs is the explicit, destructive
            resync of /etc/skel into an existing user's $HOME

Package-owned files move out of config/ into default/, where the
omarchy-settings PKGBUILD installs them to real system paths:

  config/environment.d/fcitx.conf            -> /usr/lib/environment.d/
  config/fontconfig/fonts.conf               -> /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/
  config/mimeapps.list                       -> /usr/share/applications/
  config/omarchy.ttf                         -> /usr/share/fonts/omarchy/
  config/systemd/user/*.service              -> /usr/lib/systemd/user/
  config/uwsm/default                        -> /usr/share/omarchy/default/uwsm/
  config/uwsm/env                            -> /usr/share/uwsm/env.d/10-omarchy
  config/xdg-terminals.list                  -> /usr/share/xdg-terminal-exec/

omarchy-upgrade-to-4 grows a 'retire' action (renamed from 'move' to
clarify nothing is copied — the system path is owned by the new package
once the user's hash-matched ~/.config copy is removed). Mismatched
copies are kept as backups so user overrides survive the upgrade.

Other simplifications:

  - Single env bootstrap at default/bash/env-bootstrap sourced by
    /etc/profile.d/omarchy.sh, /etc/skel/.bashrc,
    /usr/share/uwsm/env.d/10-omarchy, and default/bash/envs. PATH
    prepend only in dev-link mode (production uses /usr/bin/omarchy-*).
  - omarchy-refresh-config reads from /etc/skel/.config so refresh
    means 'snap to skel'.
  - omarchy-reinstall-configs collapses to 'cp -af /etc/skel/. ~/'
    plus limine/plymouth/nvim refresh.
  - omarchy-font-set uses awk against our own 30-omarchy.conf instead
    of xmlstarlet; xmlstarlet dropped from omarchy-base.packages.
  - Defer user systemd enables (bt-agent, sleep-lock,
    recover-internal-monitor) to first-run via
    install/user/first-run/enable-user-units.sh; delete
    omarchy-user-systemctl-enable and the per-hardware install
    scripts that called it.
  - Wireplumber bluetooth-a2dp-autoconnect.conf moves to config/ so
    /etc/skel ships it; install/user/hardware/bluetooth.sh deleted.
  - Default terminal switched to foot.desktop.
  - docs/file-layout.md documents the three-layer model and the
    build-time repo→path map.
