* Extract the speed test gauge cluster into a shared SpeedTestOverlay
The dial cluster -- scrim, ignition sweep, self-ranging dials, run-again
button -- moves from the network speed test panel into qs.Ui with the
labels, unit, title, scale stops, and layer namespace as parameters, so
other measurements can wear the same cluster. The network panel keeps
its process handling and becomes a thin dressing of the overlay.

* Add a disk speed test and move speed tests under Trigger > Tests
omarchy-disk-speedtest streams live write and read MB/s once a second by
sampling the backing block device's kernel I/O counters while dd workers
generate the traffic, the same way the network test samples the
interface counters. The stress data is an incompressible urandom chunk
staged in RAM, written with fdatasync per pass and fadvise drop-behind:
O_DIRECT silently falls back to the page cache on btrfs, and zeros never
reach a compressed filesystem at all. Scratch files are created
exclusively per invocation and removed even when a dismissal interrupts
the run mid-phase.
The omarchy.disk-speedtest panel dresses the shared SpeedTestOverlay
with write and read dials in MB/s, titled with the hardware model of
the disk under test.
The menu grows a Trigger > Tests submenu holding the new Disk Speed
Test and the Network Speed Test, which moves there from Setup > Network.

* Make the disk speed test reproducible, direct, and read-first
Successive runs could swing 40% because the settled figure was just the
last one-second sample of a single buffered dd stream, taken while btrfs
copy-on-write churned the extent allocator on every rewrite pass and the
fadvise cache-eviction dance stayed advisory.
The test files are now marked NOCOW, which is what makes O_DIRECT truly
direct on btrfs -- with checksums on it silently falls back to the page
cache -- and lets every rewrite land in place. Four parallel workers per
phase give the device a queue depth it can stretch out on, and the
figure the dial settles on is the steady-state average over the whole
phase with the first warm-up second excluded, not whatever rate the
final second happened to catch. Together this tightens successive runs
from +/-40% to a few percent of each other, at the device's actual
spec throughput.
The read phase now runs first, staged against freshly written files,
with the read dial on the left. Workers also only loop while the main
script lives, so a dismissal that loses the kill race can no longer
leave an orphan hammering the disk forever, and any worker dying before
the deadline fails the run instead of passing off partial figures.

* Drop the menu aliases from the speed test entries
Aliases are reserved for established alternate names users already
type, kept for compatibility -- not something new entries pick up by
default. Note that in the menu definition header and AGENTS.md so the
next entry doesn't repeat it.

* Group dial readouts with thousands separators
A gen5 disk reads five digits; 11,450 scans, 11450 doesn't. Uses the
locale's grouping separator.

* Trim redundant overlay props and unused imports from the speed test panels
The network panel restated the overlay's default unit and scale stops,
and both panels carried imports and an omarchyPath property nothing
uses.

* Publish the specific speed test error whichever handler fires last
Process exit and stderr stream-finished have no guaranteed order, so a
failure that beat the collector showed the generic message forever even
when the command emitted an actionable one; the collector now replaces
it once the text lands. Also stop clearing the error on every stdout
line: only a new run should do that, or buffered output delivered after
a failed exit erases the failure message.

* Arm the disk speed test cleanup before any scratch file exists
A preflight failure -- tmpfs target, missing device statistics, not
enough free space -- exited between mktemp and the trap, leaking the
scratch files. Cleanup also now unlinks before stopping the workers and
sweeps once more after, so even a cleanup cut short by an impatient
SIGKILL leaves no names behind and a final worker pass cannot recreate
one.

Hyprland leaves an already-mapped layer surface at its old global
position when its monitor moves within the layout: undocking disables
the internal panel, the external monitor shifts to x=0, and the bar and
background keep rendering at the old offset until unmapped and remapped.
Watch each screen's origin and briefly unmap the window when it moves so
the compositor re-places the surface at the monitor's new origin.

* Add Tailscale header on/off toggle
* Address Tailscale toggle review feedback
* Hide Tailscale tooltip while busy
* Keep Tailscale labels clear of header toggle
* Extract the switch from Toggle into a reusable ToggleSwitch
Toggle rendered its own track and knob inline, so anything else wanting a
switch had to copy the geometry. Pull it into Ui/ToggleSwitch.qml and let
Toggle compose it, and give PanelHero a trailingControl slot so a hero can
pin a control to its trailing edge without the caller doing the layout.
The switch draws its cursor as a ring outside the track: themes give normal
chrome a stronger border than hover-cursor, which is right for controls that
are borderless at rest but would make a bordered track go fainter under the
cursor.

* Keep the panel cursor on the virtual header section
clampCursor resets focusSection whenever it is not in visibleSections, but
"header" is virtual and never appears there. Any refresh of the underlying
model therefore threw the cursor off the hero toggle: muting republishes the
PipeWire snapshot, and toggling the Bluetooth adapter empties and refills the
device lists. moveCursor already special-cases "header"; clampCursor now does
too.

* Toggle panel heroes with a switch instead of the status icon
The hero icon doubled as the on/off control, which was invisible as an
affordance and made the icon carry two jobs at once. Give Tailscale, Dropbox,
Bluetooth, Audio, and Network a ToggleSwitch on the trailing edge of the hero
and leave the icon to report status. The switch is the header's only cursor
target, so the keyboard reaches it the same way the mouse does.
Dropping the icon's focus ring also drops heroRingPad, which lets each hero
line up with the rows beneath it. Network's link detail moves inline after the
name -- "Ethernet (2.5gbit)" -- since the pill crowded the switch.

* Make the network hero switch honestly a Wi-Fi switch
The switch reads and writes Networking.wifiEnabled, but its tooltip claimed to
turn "network" on and off whenever Ethernet was the active connection. A click
asserted nothing; a switch asserts state, so on a wired machine with the radio
off it sat there reading "off" beside a perfectly live Ethernet connection.
Say Wi-Fi, and only offer the switch when there is a radio to switch.
headerActionCount follows the same condition so the keyboard cannot reach a
control that is not there.

* Stop the header cursor claiming an absent switch
The switch hides when the thing it toggles is unavailable -- no Tailscale CLI,
no Dropbox CLI, no Wi-Fi radio -- but "header" stayed reachable, so the cursor
could sit on a target that never rendered. The old clickable icon was always on
screen, so there was always something to highlight.
"header" stays navigable and Enter still no-ops safely; the cursor just stops
claiming a spot that is not there.

* Wrap the gallery's switch caption
The caption sat unbounded inside the switch row. The gallery has a 560px
minimum width, horizontal scrolling off, and clipping on, so at that size the
end of the line was simply unreachable. Move it below the row and wrap it, the
way every other description in the gallery already does.

The three components were three takes on the same shape \u2014 a clickable
rectangle with text/icon, a hot/hover state, an optional persistent
border, and an optional 'selected' or 'active' highlight. CursorPill
was a 30-line PillButton wrapper that added a hovered() signal;
ChoiceButton was effectively PillButton with selected: bool painting
an accent fill+border.
Collapse them into a single qs.Ui.Button. State flags compose
independently:
hasCursor / hover hot fill
active persistent foreground-tint fill
selected accent fill + accent border
bordered: true persistent 1px idle border (form primaries)
focusable: true Tab focus paints the accent ring
pressed pressed fill
The hovered(bool) signal is now built-in, so CursorPill's wrapper is
unnecessary. ButtonGroup wraps a Row+Repeater for the form-style
'pick one of N' pattern; panel-cursor-driven cases still compose
Buttons directly in a Row with per-instance hasCursor wiring.
Theme tokens move into a new [style] section in shell.toml:
border-width = 1
focus-border-width = 3
idle-border-alpha = 0.4
hot-fill-alpha = 0.08
selected-fill-alpha = 0.18
pressed-fill-alpha = 0.22
focus-fill-alpha = 0.22
Style.qml parses these out of the same shell.toml [font] / [bar]
already reads, and exposes pre-computed Style.hotFill / selectedFill /
pressedFill / idleBorderColor / selectedAccentFill / borderWidth +
the existing focusBorder* tokens. Themes that don't ship a [style]
section get the previous defaults unchanged.
Dev gallery consolidates three sections (PillButton, CursorPill,
ChoiceButton) into Button + ButtonGroup, with the cursor model
sections renamed accordingly.
