David Heinemeier HanssonandClaude Fable 5 afa2839a5a Rename bg/fg palette keys to background/foreground
The canonical colors.toml keys are now background/foreground, including
all permutations (dark_background, darker_background, lighter_background,
dark_foreground, light_foreground, bright_foreground). The old short
names are gone entirely, not kept as aliases; legacy alacritty-generated
themes still resolve through the ANSI color0/color7 fallback.

Theme files are also regrouped: accent/selection/muted first, then the
backgrounds, then the foregrounds, then the named colors.

# Omarchy User Template Example: Alacritty
#
# This is a sample template file demonstrating how to create custom themed
# configurations. Templates use placeholder variables that get replaced with
# your current theme's colors when you switch themes.
#
# HOW TO USE:
# 1. Rename this file to: alacritty.toml.tpl (remove the .sample extension)
# 2. Customize it as needed
# 3. Change your theme to apply the template
#
# User templates in ~/.config/omarchy/themed/ take priority over the built-in
# templates in the Omarchy default/themed/ directory. This lets you override
# any built-in template or create templates for applications not included
# by default.
#
# AVAILABLE VARIABLES:
# {{ background }} - Main background color (e.g., "#1a1b26")
# {{ foreground }} - Main foreground/text color
# {{ bright_foreground }} - Bright foreground / cursor color
# {{ accent }} - Theme accent color
# {{ selection }} - Selection highlight background
# {{ selection_background }} - Selection highlight background alias
# {{ selection_foreground }} - Selection highlight foreground (derived from bright_foreground)
#
# {{ color0 }} through {{ color15 }} - Standard 16-color terminal palette
# color0-7: Normal colors (black, red, green, yellow, blue, magenta, cyan, white)
# color8-15: Bright variants
# Semantic aliases are also available: {{ background }}, {{ foreground }}, {{ red }}, {{ green }},
# {{ yellow }}, {{ blue }}, {{ magenta }}, {{ cyan }}, {{ muted }} and the
# {{ bright_* }} variants. The two forms are kept in sync by
# bin/omarchy-theme-set-templates.
#
# VARIABLE MODIFIERS:
# {{ variable_strip }} - Hex color without the # prefix (e.g., "1a1b26")
# {{ variable_rgb }} - Decimal RGB values (e.g., "26,27,38")
#
# Example using modifiers:
# background = "{{ background }}" -> background = "#1a1b26"
# background = "{{ background_strip }}" -> background = "1a1b26"
# background = "rgb({{ background_rgb }})" -> background = "rgb(26,27,38)"
