On native WSL, a formula containing `\text{}` (U+ECE0, provided by bundled IBM Plex Sans) succeeds with an 8 × 6.896 frame but retains only 1,075 of 4,234 rendered ink pixels. The exact-source raster regression fails; adding the bundled font and matching sans-serif mapping in the probe copy produces a 23.061337 × 15.402668 frame and retains all 4,234 pixels. Use the same enriched font database and resolution rules for measurement and rendering, and cover a bundled-font glyph in the raster test.
