MuPDF builds with MSBuild on Windows (/MT, OpenSSL from vcpkg); Git for Windows' MinGit stands in for the source build there. CEF loads from where libcef lives and sets its API version first on every platform. File identity on Windows compares volume and index. The checkout and reference/ keep LF on Windows. Packages: packaging/macos/release.sh writes each app's .app and .dmg, the source archive and the upstream source archive (patched MuPDF, Git) to dist/. Linux and Windows recipes are in packaging/linux and packaging/windows; they have not been run on those systems.
Tests
cargo test --workspace, the window scripts in tests/scripts (macOS, Accessibility permission), and the benchmark tests/perf/bench.py.
